Now, this flagship smartphone has been launched in Japan. Moreover, in the Japanese market, the smartphone has actually gone official with a higher price tag.
The smartphone is a pure flagship performer, going by its specifications. We get to see the Snapdragon 888 SoC, a powerful Zeiss tuned camera setup and more. So, from the looks of it, the device will not only take care of your vlogging needs but, way more.

Sony Xperia 5 III Price and Availability
The Sony Xperia 5 III price in Japan has been set at ¥137,520. Now, this converts to approximately Rs. 89,758 in the Indian currency. To recall, it went official for CNY 6,599 in China. This is roughly Rs. 76,901. This is indeed a huge difference in the price of the device in the two regions.
When it comes to the availability of the device, it can be purchased via Sony’s official website and Softbank in Japan. For now, nothing has been revealed about the India launch of the device.

Sony Xperia 5 III Specifications
Starting with the display of the device, the smartphone features a 6.1-inch full-HD+ OLED panel. In addition, the display also comes with a fast 120Hz refresh rate. We also get to see a 240Hz touch sampling rate on the device, good news for gamers. The display comes with an aspect ratio of 21:9.
On the processor front, the Sony Xperia 5 III is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. The octa-core chipset pairs up with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Further, the internal storage on the device is also expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.
Moving to its USP, the flagship Sony device sports a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes three 12-megapixel sensors. While one is the primary sensor, the other two are for ultra-wide and depth shots, respectively.

Talking about the battery capacity, Sony Xperia 5 III packs a 4,500mAh unit. This battery capacity pairs up with 30W fast charging support as well. In terms of software, it runs on Android 11 OS right out of the box. The device comes with an IP6X water and dust resistance rating as well, which offers good protection in harsh environments or usages.
