Samsung has officially launched the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G ahead of the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show. This smartphone is the company’s first handset to be launched in 2023. It features a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and a 6.6-inch PLS LCD. The handset was launched in the United States however it was also spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website. This suggests that the smartphone could make its debut in India soon.

For the 64GB storage version the handset costs $199.99 (roughly Rs. 16,500) in the US. The handset is already available on the Samsung US website. Moreover, the customers can get an alert when the sale starts. The smartphone offers the following colour variants- Silver, Maroon, Black, and Light Green.

The smartphone features a 6.6-inch (1,080×2,408 pixels) PLS LCD and runs on Android-13-based One UI 5.0. It comes with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor along with 4GB of RAM and a 90Hz refresh rate. Regarding camera configuration, the smartphone features a triple rear camera setup of a 50-megapixel f/1.8 main sensor. Along with a 2-megapixel f/2.4 macro lens, and a 2-megapixel f/2.4 depth sensor.
Moreover, it comes with a 13-megapixel front camera for selfies and video chats which is housed in a waterdrop-style notch at the top centre. The smartphone has 64GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card. Additionally, it also features a 5,000mAh battery capacity, and 15W charging support and weighs 204 grams. Furthermore, it includes an accelerometer, barometer, fingerprint sensor, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, and a light and proximity sensor. Lastly, it comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
