The Google Pixel 7A which is expected to launch in May this year has been in the rumour mill for quite some time now. Some past leaks have revealed the design and display specifications of the upcoming handset. And now a new leak hints at the RAM and storage details of the smartphone.
The design leaks suggest that the upcoming handset will most likely have a similar design language as its predecessor the Google Pixel 6a. Moreover, past reports also suggest that the launch of the smartphone will take place in May during the company’s annual I/O conference. Google Pixel 7a: Specifications
A few days back, a hands-on video of the Google Pixel 7a was leaked by a Facebook group. Additionally, tipster @chunvn8888 shared a few screenshots on Twitter which show the Fastboot menu and reveal the RAM and storage capacities of the device. As per the leaks, the upcoming smartphone will feature 8GB of DDR5 RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. If the leaks prove to be true then the upcoming handset will be an upgrade over Google Pixel 6a’s 6GB memory. Moreover, the Fastboot menu also shows the “lynx” codename, which most likely belongs to the Pixel 7a.
Previous leaks suggest that the upcoming handset will have thick bezels and a centrally aligned hole-punch cutout, just like its predecessor. Moreover, it will most likely deliver a refresh rate of 90Hz and come with a 1080p OLED display. It will feature a dual rear camera unit of a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. Earlier reports suggest that it will support Dual SIM and 5W wireless charging. Lastly, the upcoming smartphone may feature a Google’s Tensor G2 SoC along with a Qualcomm chip.
