Redmi, a sub-brand of Xiaomi, has released a new smartphone in China, the Xiaomi Redmi 12C. The phone is the successor to the Xiaomi Redmi 10C smartphone, which was released in March of last year. In terms of appearance, the smartphone differs from its predecessor. It will have a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC and comes in three storage configurations.
The smartphone begins at CNY 699 (about Rs 8,400) for the basic phone with 4GB+64GB storage. The smartphone’s storage choices of 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB are priced at CNY 799 (approximately Rs 9,600) and CNY 899 (about Rs 10,800), respectively. It is available in three colours: Shadow Black, Sea Blue, Mint Green, and Lavender.

Specifications Of Redmi 12C
The Redmi 12C will have a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC and offers LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 flash memory. The smartphone’s internal storage can be expanded up to 512GB through a microSD card. Furthermore, the device houses a 5,000mAh battery that comes with a 10W charging adapter.
A square-shaped module on the phone’s back houses a pill-shaped camera module and a fingerprint scanner. Meanwhile, the LED flash is built into the camera module. Moreover, the device features a 6.71-inch HD+ display with a 20.6:9 aspect ratio and 500 nits of peak brightness. Furthermore, it sports a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera sensor on the back and a 5-megapixel selfie camera housed in the dew-drop notch on the front.
