Vivo launched its latest Y-series budget smartphone Vivo Y35m, on Monday, January 2, 2023, in China. The smartphone is a variant of the Vivo Y35 which was launched the previous year. The handset features a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and currently is only available in China markets.
Moreover, the smartphone comes in three internal storage options and two colour variants. It supports 5G network connectivity and features a 5,000mAh battery. The date of its release in global markets is still unknown and the company hasn’t confirmed or released any information. Price, Colour Options and Availability
The recently launched handset is available in three RAM and storage variants. Its 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage model cost CNY 1,399 (roughly Rs. 16,800). In contrast for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration the smartphone costs CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs. 19,800). Additionally, its third top-of-the-line variant that comes with 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage is priced at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 20,400). Moreover, the smartphone is available in two colour variants- Starry Black and Star Orange.
Vivo Y35m: Specifications
The Vivo Y35m comes in a similar design as the Vivo Y35 and features a polycarbonate body. It comes with a 6.51-inch HD Plus IPS display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The handset runs Android 13 with OriginOS Forest on top and supports a standard refresh rate of 60Hz. The display comes with a waterdrop notch design to house the selfie camera and is surrounded by a fairly thin bezel. Moreover, the company claims that the smartphone has an 89 per cent screen-to-body ratio.
The handset features a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor and as mentioned earlier offers three storage options. It also supports storage expansion via microSD card. The smartphone also features a 5,000mAh battery capacity and 15W fast charging support. It features a dual rear camera setup, which includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 2-megapixel macro sensor. Additionally, it comes with a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video chats.
Moreover, the smartphone comes with a USB Type-C port for charging, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for the audio plug-in. Lastly, it also houses a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and supports AI face unlock.
