Weird Pitches From Shark Tank India That You Must Know About
Let’s get on the journey to know some of the weird pitches from Shark Tank India that did not go well with the judges.
1. Naabhi Shaper
If you are an avid social media media, we can bet that you must have definitely seen the meme of the Naabhi Shaper business circulating on social networking sites. This was one business idea that made sharks laugh their heart out. The founders of the product, Jayshree Jumnani and Baldev Jumnani came up with the idea of using their oil to give a rounded shape to the naval.
Additionally, it was aided by ABS-plastic that can be taped to the naval even while you do regular chores. However, the shark could not stop laughing at the proposal, which appeared to be solving no real-life problem. In fact, Vineeta Singh, owner of Sugar Cosmetics, even pointed out how FDA approval is a must claim the product can permanently affect the body.

2. Fat to Slim
The business is centrally based on the idea of making people avoid the process of exercise in their journey towards fitness altogether. It may definitely seem appealing for those looking for a shortcut to the abs and slim-trim figure, but the claim seemed far from true from the scientific evidence that has come up.
The founder of the product, Shikha Aggarwal Sharma, made a point to the judges that it is excellent for people who do not want to go for exercise. In fact, the logo of the brand had the words “Eat Sleep, No Exercise”. Namita Thapar pointed out this gimmick made by the brand, and ultimately, they received no investment.

3. Sippline
One of the not-so-required and weird pitches from Shark Tank India came from Rohit Warrier, who proposed using masks while sipping through the glass. This is especially valid for public areas like restaurants, pubs, community banquets, etc. The plastic covering can be added to the edge of the glass and can be removed once you are away.
The sharks could not get convinced by the idea of the unique product. This was practically useless as it served significantly fewer consumers who were so picky and conservative. Besides, they added that the one who had a fear of using public utensils would not prefer going to a public place at all. Many reviews about the product also suggests the usage of subpar quality of plastic used and the size of the mask not being apt for all the glass.

4. Julaa
Julaa was one of the proposals that could not convince the shark regarding any investment. The business led by Rameshkumar Patel, Chandrakantabhai Patel, and Jay Umretiyaya Jhuula developed Julaa or swing for children offering multiple features like preset lullabies, tracking activities of children, etc.
The cost of swing was pegged around Rs 1lakh, that confused sharks. Most of them suggested that the swings pegged at such high rates could not convince the new-gen parents and was more like having a “white elephant.” At the end of the pitch, none of the sharks showed interest in investing in a product that was not of much use.

One of the weird pitches from Shark Tank India that were not liked by many judges was the convertible cloth idea by Niti Singhal. While the idea was to promote the product’s reusability, the idea did not go well with the judges. Ashneer Grover, known for his straightforward feedback, blatantly called the product “horrible and impractical.”
Even though the brand promised sustainability in the clothing segment, the judges were not convinced if the market was yet ripe for implementing the idea.
