The OnePlus 9R was launched in April as a reasonable and appealing option for smartphone users who did not want to spend more than Rs 40,000. The next thing on the list is the camera. You will see an all-new 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 camera on the latest OnePlus 9RT compared to the 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 camera on the OnePlus 9R. This new 50-megapixel camera is the same camera sensor used in the OnePlus Nord 2. The new 50-megapixel sensor will enhance the nighttime capabilities of the camera. Conclusion
OnePlus 9RT won’t be a major upgrade over the OnePlus 9R, with only a bit of improvement in different areas like performance, camera and OS. The most important thing to note would be the price that it would launch at. If you are waiting for the OnePlus 9RT for a performance upgrade, I won’t recommend you to do that. Whereas if you prefer camera performance and want a good camera, the new OnePlus would definitely be a better choice.
