WhatsApp is currently developing a feature that will allow group admins to erase messages from a group. This is one of a series of updates to WhatsApp Communities. It is already possible to remove your own messages. This modification allows group admins to remove the unwanted message for everyone in the group.
The feature is named Delete Messages For Everyone, according to WABetaInfo. It operates in a fairly straightforward manner. When a group admin deletes a message, the others in the group may see who did it and when. Everyone in the conversation will be notified that the admin is removing someone else’s message. The admin will come to know that their actions, as well as their name, will publicize to the whole group.

The functionality will most likely come with a future WhatsApp update. The platform intends to increase the time limit for everyone to erase a message to 60 hours. Group admins will have two and a half days to deploy the eye-bleach.
WhatsApp Group Admins To Get More Power
Following the debut of ephemeral messages last year, the new feature will represent a huge shift in the instant messaging network. WhatsApp group admins will be able to function as moderators once the feature will come as an update, in addition to having the ability to remove members from the group. The change appears to aim at giving group admins more control over the flow of content in their groups.

Apart from that, the messaging app plans to expand the time limit for deleting a message to 2 days and 12 hours for everyone. This functionality will include in a later release. However, there is no official word on when the update will be released.
Meanwhile, WhatsApp has added an emoji replies feature that allows users to respond to their friends and family’s status using emoticons. It’s comparable to those found on other social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Message reaction is a feature that allows users to respond to a message with six emojis: Like, Love, Laugh, Surprised, Thanks, and Sad.
