On April 28, 2022, Motorola launched their Moto Edge 30 globally. Now, the brand is all set to launch the smartphone in India. Today, on May 6, 2022, the smartphone maker has officially taken the wraps off of the Moto Edge 30 launch date in India. The flagship device is all set to go official in the Indian market on May 12, 2022.
Motorola took to their social media handles to reveal the official launch date of the device. In addition, Flipkart has also put up a dedicated micro-site for the smartphone. This showcases and confirms a couple specifications and the design of the smartphone. As per the microsite, the device will weigh only 155 grams and come with a thickness of 6.79mm. It is clear why the brand is promoting the device as the “World’s Thinnest 5G Smartphone.”

Moto Edge 30 Price in India (Expected)
Currently, the flagship mid-ranger is only available in the European markets. Going by the pricing of the device in the European markets, we can make an assumption of how much it may cost in India. The smartphone comes with a price tag of EUR 449.99. Now, this converts to approximately Rs. 36,000 in the Indian currency. However, the smartphone is most likely going to be cheaper here.
Moto Edge 30 Specifications
The flagship mid-ranger from Motorola comes with a 6.5-inch full-HD+ OLED display. In addition, the display offers a fast 144Hz refresh rate alongside a 10-bit colour panel. The display also comes with HDR10+ certification.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC. This octa-core chipset is paired with an integrated Adreno 642L. The chipset and GPU are coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. In terms of software, the smartphone runs on Android 12 OS with the MyUX custom skin on top.
For photos and videos, the Moto Edge 30 features a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle with a 118 degree FOV and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. At the front, the mid-ranger sports a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.
The latest offering by Motorola packs a 4000mAh battery. This rated battery capacity pairs up with 33W TurboPower fast charging support. You also get to see a USB Type-C port for charging along with a Dolby Atmos-backed stereo speaker. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 159.38 × 74.236 × 6.79mm and weighs 155 grams.
