  • Vivo appears to have a handful of phones in the works after launching the Vivo V23e 5G earlier this year. According to rumours circulating on the internet, the company will launch the flagship Vivo X80 series by April. Like the Vivo X70 lineup, the Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro could be part of the lineup. Furthermore, Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO is working on the iQOO Neo6 phone and has also tagged along for the certification.

    Vivo X80 series specifications

    Vivo X Fold

    The model numbers for the X80 and X80 Pro are V2183A and V2186A, respectively. The listing includes information about the display size, dimensions, and possible battery capacity. The phones have the same display size, according to TENAA: 6.78-inches. While the standard X80 should have an FHD+ display, the Pro model could have a QHD+ display.

    The standard X80 is 164.975.28.3mm long and has a 2190mAh battery, which could be a single-cell unit. This implies that the total capacity should be 4380mAh (but should be marketed as 4,400mAh or 4,500mAh cell).

    The X80 Pro, on the other hand, measures 164.5775.39.10mm. The listed battery capacity is 2290mAh, for a total capacity of 4580mAh (should be marketed as 4,700mAh). Both phones will run the Android 12 operating system and have 5G network connectivity.

    Vivo X Fold specifications appear on TENAA

    The Vivo X Fold has also been listed on TENAA. It will be the company’s first foldable phone, and it is expected to compete with Xiaomi and Samsung foldable in China.

    According to the TENAA listing, it has a 6.53-inch screen. It is said to be 162.011144.876.28 in size and to pack a dual-cell 2255mAh battery, i.e. 4.500mAh battery. The dimensions mentioned could be when the item is unfolded.

    According to rumours, the foldable phone will have an 8-inch main QHD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset and will most likely run the Android 12 operating system out of the box.

    According to the allegedly leaked live image, it will have a design similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G. It will fold in the middle and have a smaller display on the outside.

    iQOO Neo 6 Also Appeared on TENAA

    The TENAA listing for the iQOO Neo 6 with the model number V2196A shows it has a 6.62-inch Full HD+ display and a 2,290mAh dual-cell battery, which should be marketed as a 4700mAh battery capacity. It will be 163X76.16X8.5mm in size and will run Android 12 OS. The phone will also support 4G networks.
