The Galaxy A53 is available in two variants: 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB. The device’s 6GB + 128GB variant costs Rs. 34,499 in India. The A53 8GB + 128GB variant, on the other hand, costs Rs. 35,999.
Samsung offers Rs. 3000 instant cashback with ICICI Credit and Debit Cards as a launch promotion. According to the company, the handset is only available to those pre-ordered it. The Galaxy A53 5G has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ sAMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a peak brightness of 800nits, and Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The handset is powered by an octa-core Exynos 1280 processor and a Mali G68 GPU. The system on chip has up to 8GB of memory and 128GB of onboard storage. OneUI 4.1 comes pre-installed on the latest A-series handset.
The Galaxy A53 5G has a quad-rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with OIS. It consists of a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel macro sensor, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. It has a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
The latest A-series handset has a 5000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging. However, Samsung does not include a charger in the retail box. The Galaxy A53 5G comes with a Type-C charging port, a micro-SD card slot, stereo speakers, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
