Honor 90 Debut: As per the report, Honor is set to make a comeback to the Indian market with the launch of the Honor 90 in September. The smartphone manufacturer initially released the Honor 90 alongside its flagship-grade model, the Honor 90 Pro, in China earlier this year. Noteworthy features of the Honor 90 include a powerful 200-megapixel rear camera, and a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset powering the device. Additionally, it features a sizable 5,000mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
However, when introducing the phone in the Indian market, there may be slight variations in the specifications. A recent IANS report claims that Honor will introduce the Honor 90 in the premium segment in India around mid-September. The report doesn’t provide a source for this information or specify an exact launch date. Interestingly, this report comes shortly after a YouTube creator. Who also suggested a similar timeline for the phone’s debut in the country.
The handset was initially launched in China in May and is priced starting from CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs. 28,700) for the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration.

Honor 90: Expected Price
The report suggests that the Honor 90 is anticipated to be priced at approximately Rs. 45,000 in India. This places it at a notably higher price point compared to other smartphones featuring the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. As a result, the Honor 90 expects to face competition from smartphones like the Google Pixel 7a, Nothing Phone 2, iQoo Neo 7 Pro, and OnePlus 11R. These models offer more powerful chipsets within the same price range.
Expected Specs
- Honor originally launched the Honor 90 in China. The model boasts a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,200 x 2,664 pixels) curved OLED display with a high 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 1,600 nits.
- Under the hood, powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, coupled with up to 16GB of RAM.
- On the rear, the smartphone showcases a triple camera setup. The setup consists of a powerful 200-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, there is a 50-megapixel front-facing camera.
- In terms of storage, the Honor 90 offers options of up to 512GB of internal storage. As for connectivity, the phone supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC.
