OnePlus Ace also famously OnePlus 10R in India is allegedly facing heating issues. Although the OnePlus 10R just launched in India, OnePlus Ace launched in China a while ago. As per a report, a customer of the smartphone in China claims that his smartphone became very hot after an hour of gaming. Other users complained of similar issues, prompting a hashtag trend on Weibo. Once translated from Mandarin to English, it means “OnePlus Phones So Hot That It Burns Hands.” OnePlus has officially responded to the overheating claims.

OnePlus Ace Overheating Issues Reported in China
Unlike India, the OnePlus 10R (or Ace) in China is already shipping to customers. However, initial impressions indicate heating issues on the device as reported by Sina Finance, a mainstream Chinese news outlet. One of the users claimed that their device’s battery temperature reached 43.7 degrees Celsius. Whereas, the CPU was at 46.5 degrees Celsius when they played Genshin Impact on it for an hour. Reportedly, some users also provided a video, saying that the temperature of their phones’ battery temperature reached as high as 44.6 degrees Celsius. On the other hand, the CPUs soared to 60.4 degrees Celsius.

OnePlus had later reached out to Sina Finance for a public response. They state that the user in question had been playing Geshin Impact, a resource-demanding game, for an hour. OnePlus also pointed out that heating issues recorded during extensive periods of gaming are common and are considered normal. According to the company, this will not affect the everyday performance of the OnePlus Ace.
