However, the M4 5G was not instantly available for purchase upon launch. The smartphone is all set to go on its very first sale in India today, at 12 noon. POCO M4 5G Price in India, Discount and Availability
The newly launched smartphone starts at Rs. 12,999 in the country. This is the starting price set for the base model which offers 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Besides, there is another variant that customers can choose as well. This particular variant is priced at Rs. 14,999 and offers 6GB RAM along with 128GB of internal storage.
In terms of discounts, POCO is offering an instant Rs. 2,000 off on purchase via SBI Bank Credit card. When it comes to the availability of the device, it can be purchased via Flipkart from 12 Noon today, that is, May 5, 2022. The smartphone will be available for purchase in the Poco Yellow, Cool Blue, and Power Black colour options.

POCO M4 5G Specifications
Starting with the display, the newly launched device comes with 6.58-inch Full HD+ LCD display. This display offers a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels along with a 401ppi pixel density, and 1500: 1 contrast ratio. In addition, the display also offers a fast 90Hz refresh rate. On top, there is Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection.

Under the hood, the POCO M4 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. This octa-core chipset pairs up with a Mali G57 GPU. Additionally, the chipset and GPU are coupled with up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB UFS2.2 storage. Talking about software, the smartphone runs on Android 12 with the MIUI 13 custom skin on top.
When it comes to optics, the affordable 5G phone features a dual rear camera setup. The setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor along with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. At the front, you get to see an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.
In terms of battery, the smartphone packs a big 5000mAh battery. This battery capacity is paired with 18W fast charging support. There is a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer purposes. You also get to see a 3.5mm headphone jack alongside a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
