2022 is going to be an exciting year for game releases. Recently, we got to know of a HUGE list of triple A titles that will be landing Day One of their release on the Xbox Game Pass. This includes Plague Tale: Requiem, Warhammer and several other titles. Now, we get to know of one of the most anticipated games of 2022 arriving on the Game Pass as well. Yes, we are talking about Rainbox Six Extraction.
Ubisoft took to their official news section to reveal that the game will be arriving Day One on the Xbox Game Pass. However, the fun does not end there. In addition, they also stated that Ubisoft Plus will also be arriving to the Game Pass. Ubisoft Plus works similarly to that of the EA Pass. Rainbow Six Extraction release date has been set for January 20, 2022.

Xbox Game Pass will Rainbox Six Extraction on Day One & Ubisoft Plus
Rainbow Six Extraction is multiplayer shooter which follows PvE mechanics. The game will allow players to team up up to three other players. Together, they will have to fight against hoards of aliens that have taken over Earth. Besides, the game will offer a wide arsenal of weapons to choose from. In total, there are going to be 18 operators to choose from as well.

Ubisoft Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development, Chris Early stated that, “By making Rainbow Six Extraction available to Game Pass and PC Game Pass members on the day and date of its launch via Xbox Game Pass, we’re demonstrating that we believe in the value and choice that game subscriptions offer to players.”
Further, he added that, “Rainbow Six Extraction for Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass members is just the beginning. Ultimately, we will offer the Ubisoft+ subscription service to Xbox owners so that they can enjoy the full extent of our Ubisoft+ game library, including new releases, on their consoles.”

From the looks of it, Ubisoft and Xbox Game Pass surely do seem to be making long term plans. Also, Ubisoft Plus is here to stay and hopefully, we are going to get several AAA Ubisoft titles to play via the Game Pass.
