Drones will be added to PUBG: Battlegrounds in the upcoming update to help your team up the pace and give you another way to win a combat. In a new trailer, a drone surveillance feature is shown. Drones are already used in games like PUBG: New State to provide players a tactical advantage. PUBG Battlegrounds would be free-to-play for all players starting January 12, according to Krafton. Despite the fact that the game would be available for free download and play, Krafton is said to be restricting specific items and game modes to paid customers.

PUBG Surveillance Drone Update
The PUBG: Battlegrounds official Facebook page has posted a teaser video. A group of players is seen hiding and plotting their next move in this brief video. Unknown to them, they’re being watched by a surveillance drone piloted by another player. Earlier this week, the developers shared a similar teaser of a radio-controlled surveillance drone, a remote control, a map, and a bag on Twitter.

According to Krafton, the drone update will be added to PUBG: Battleground on January 12; when the game will become a free-to-play game. In India, the game costs Rs. 999 on Steam. Despite the fact that it will be free to download, certain items and game modes will only be available to paying customers.
Meanwhile, Krafton is maintaining its tough stance against gamers who cheat in Battlegrounds Mobile India. During the week that concluded on January 2, it banned over 71,000 accounts. In less than a month, the game developers has already banned nearly two lakh accounts. The devices of these gamers have been permanently banned from this battle royale mobile game.
