Huawei is reportedly gearing up to launch a brand new foldable smartphone. However, this is not like their other foldable and the new Huawei foldable follows a Clamshell design. This is much like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. It will be the very first time that the brand will launch a foldable of this design.
However, it is not a surprise as back in September of this year itself we got to know that a unique foldable smartphone by the brand was in the works. Moreover, latest reports suggest that Huawei is going to do something next-gen with the hinge of this smartphone. This has been revealed by a manufacturer of smartphone hardware.

Huawei Foldable Smartphone: What Else?
Zhaoli Technology is a company that manufacturers smartphone hardware. They are the ones who took to Weibo to reveal this piece of information. The company has now revealed that Huawei is working towards a next-gen hinge design for their next foldable. Neither of the previously launched foldable smartphones by the brand have sported this design. These include the Huawei Mate X, Huawei Mate Xs and Huawei Mate X2.

For the most part, these flagship smartphones could be unfolded into tablets. However, as per the newly leaked concept images, we can see that is most certainly the case. The new Huawei foldable smartphone mostly looks like the Galaxy Z Flip 3. Moreover, the brand maybe ditching the front camera on this one. They will instead use the secondary display.
Now, this will indeed allow users to not only take selfies with the primary rear camera sensor but also make video calls. However, it may not be as comfortable as on other phones when it comes to video calls. For now, this is all that is known about the device. In terms of specs, nothing is known about the Huawei foldable. Hopefully, we will get to know more details about the device in the coming days.
