From the rumours and leaks of the last few months, we know that the iPhone SE 3 may launch sometime soon. But this time around leaks suggests we can expect it to launch early next year. According to leaks, it will launch sometime in Q1 2022 with 5G connectivity. This will be the first time that an affordable iPhone SE series is offering a 5G connectivity. Although the smartphone is expecting to retain the same display from the iPhone SE (2020).
According to TrendForce, Apple will launch the iPhone SE 3 smartphone in the first quarter of 2022. The prediction lines up with previous reports that say the iPhone SE (2022) could arrive in spring next year. However, we can expect SE 3 to come with some upgrades as compared to the previous models. But there isn’t any confirmation yet on the phone from the company.

Apple iPhone SE 3 Expected Specs
Previous reports have suggested that Apple will launch the iPhone SE 3 with an iPhone XR-like design. This means that Apple will upgrade the design of its SE lineup and launch the phone with an all-screen design. Moreover, it will have a notch cut out, according to the report. It further suggests that the phone will sport a 6.1-inch LCD, which is similar to the iPhone XR. Although this is contrary to previous rumours. It stated that the SE 3 will have a 4.7-inch display with Touch ID housed on the Home button below the display.
Furthermore, Apple will launch the iPhone SE 3 with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Apple has launched the iPad models with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It could be possible that the SE 3 gets a similar treatment. However, it is unknown if the budget iPhone will also come equipped with Face ID.

Chances are that the budget iPhone could come with some form of Touch ID implementation only. It could be below the display or as a side-mounted scanner. In terms of connectivity, the iPhone SE 3 should offer support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, 5G, NFC, and a Lightning port. However, one should take this information with a pinch of salt as they are just speculations. c
