Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series is now official. The company has launched the trio this time around which includes Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+, and Tab S8 Ultra. These also launched alongside the much-awaited Galaxy S22 series. Both the vanilla and the Plus variant come as successors to the company’s Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+. However, the Ultra variant is an all-new model in the lineup, aiming to deliver an upgraded experience. Let’s take a look at what these trio offers:

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra Specifications

Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra runs on Android 12 with One UI Tab 4 on top. This tablet, however, features a larger 14.6-inch WQXGA+ (2,960×1,848 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 240ppi of pixel density. It also comes with up to a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the Tab S8 Ultra is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC fabbed on 4nm process and it is coupled with Adreno 730 GPU. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

In terms of optics, it comes with a dual rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 6-megapixel ultra-wide shooter. The camera setup is also paired with an LED flash. Unlike the other two models in the series, Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra comes with a dual-camera setup at the front that has 12-megapixel wide and ultra-wide shooters. Moreover, the camera setup is available on a display notch.

Furthermore, it supports expansion via a microSD card (up to 1TB). Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. There is also an option for 5G and 4G LTE connectivity. Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra packs an 11,200mAh battery that supports Super Fast Charging 2.0.

Galaxy Tab S8, S8+ Specifications

Both the vanilla Tab S8 and S8+ power on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. They also come with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The vanilla Galaxy Tab S8 sports an 11-inch LTPS TFT display with 2560 x 1600 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. Whereas, the Samsung Tab S8+ sports a 120Hz 12.4-inch Super AMOLED display with 2800 x 1752 pixels resolution. Both tablets run on OneUI 4 based on Android 12 and they also come with an S-Pen in the box.

For photos and videos, Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has a dual rear camera setup that houses a 13-megapixel primary sensor, along with a 6-megapixel ultra-wide shooter. The camera setup is paired with an LED flash. Further, the tablet also comes with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide shooter at the front — for selfies and video chats.

Unlike the regular Galaxy Tab S8, the Galaxy Tab S8+ comes with an under-display fingerprint sensor. It also packs a 10,090mAh battery with Super Fast Charging 2.0 (up to 45W). In addition, the tablet measures 185x285x5.7mm and weighs 567 grams.

Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 with an 8,000mAh battery that supports Super Fast Charging 2.0 (up to 45W). The tablet measures 165.3×253.8×6.3mm. It weighs 503 grams (Wi-Fi only variant) and 507 grams (5G option).
