Samsung Galaxy S21 series is getting the August 2021 Android security patch, with Samsung continuing to distribute updates to many devices in time. Some of the first handsets to receive the latest security update for Android, including the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. The updates were first received in China last week before this more worldwide roll-out in Germany. In the near future, the update should reach other markets. The South Korean Tech Giant’s next flagship smartphone series was launched in January and came out of the box with Android 11-based One UI 3.1.

According to a SamMobile report, the Samsung Galaxy S21, the Galaxy S21+, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra are receiving the latest August 2021 Android security update. As already said, German customers are the first to receive the update and other markets are expected to come soon.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Series Update Changelog
The update changelog was not officially published. The latest patch involves fixes for over 40 vulnerabilities and major issues, overall bug fixes, and improvements to system stability. These came with the Galaxy A52‘s Android Security patch in August 2021. Followed by the Galaxy A72, Galaxy S20, and even Galaxy Fold 5G, as per reports.

The Galaxy S21 series update is offered with the firmware version of G99xBXXU3AUGM. No details about the size of the update are available. Users are recommended to update their Samsung Smartphone while linked to a strong Wi-Fi connection and put it on charging. The smartphone should be updated automatically, but users can go to Setting > Update Software > Download and install manually.
