After multiple leaks in the past few weeks, Samsung has officially launched the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G. The new Samsung phone comes as an upgrade to the GalaxyA52 5G unveiled in March. Moreover, the device basically offers similar specifications except that it has a different chipset. Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G price starts at GBP 409 (Rs 41,806. The phone comes in Awesome Black, Awesome White, Awesome Violet, and Awesome Mint colour options. The pre-orders of the handset will start on Samsung’s official website from August 24. However, Samsung has not revealed any details regarding the Indian availability of the phone.
Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G Specifications
It offers similar specifications and features as that of the Galaxy A52 5G except for the chipset. It features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display with a 120Hz refresh rate. However, unlike its predecessor, the phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC. It comes along with 6GB of RAM. It also comes with 128GB of onboard storage that is expandable via a microSD card (up to 1TB).
Samsung has also provided a feature called RAM Plus. It will expand the inbuilt memory using internal storage to deliver a faster multitasking experience. Furthermore, Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup that comprises a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens and optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 12-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide lens, a 5-megapixel macro shooter, and a 5-megapixel telephoto shooter.
Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G comes with a 32-megapixel selfie camera at the front, with an f/2.2 fixed focus lens. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. There is also an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The phone also features IP67 certification, an in-display fingerprint sensor, Dolby Atmos support, Stereo speakers, a USB Type-C port, and Samsung Pay. Meanwhile, the device draws power from a 4500mAh battery that offers 25W fast charging.
