Realme 12 Series India Announcement Teased On January 3
Realme India has posted a tweet on X (Formerly Twitter) teasing an announcement about an upcoming device at 7:30 AM IST on January 3. Moreover, the teaser states, “Stay Tuned for the real update”, with comments asking people to guess about the update.

The image has 12 white dots with “Make It Real” written in Morse code. This suggests the upcoming phone is likely to be the Realme 12 series.

According to a previous leak by tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Realme 12 Pro+ will launch in India by the end of January or early February. Moreover, the phone will use a Snapdragon 7 series chipset, likely the 7s Gen 2.

The Realme 12 and Realme 12 Pro+ were recently seen on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) website, hinting at an imminent launch. The company previously posted a teaser on its account stating “No Periscope, No Flagship,” hinting that the phone could have a Periscope lens.

The upcoming Realme 12 Pro Plus will have a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B with 3x zoom, while the 12 Pro will have a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 with 2x zoom.
Both phones will compete against the upcoming Redmi Note 13 series, which will debut on January 4, 2024. These will likely have a price tag of less than Rs.30,000 in India.
