The launch event may most likely unveil two smartphones, the Realme GT Neo 5 and Realme GT Neo 5 Pro. The handset will be the successor of the Realme GT Neo 3. At the same time, the pro variant will be the successor of the Realme GT Neo 3 Pro. A poster shared on Weibo reveals that the handset will support 240W fast charging, which will be one of the smartphone’s highlights. The design of the handset, as seen in the poster, matches the leaked renders of the smartphone, which proves that the leak can be legit. The image further reveals that the upcoming smartphone will feature a triple rear camera setup and a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor. Which will most likely be paired with 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. Moreover, it will feature a Sony IMX890 sensor with support for Optical Image Stabilisation.
As per the leaks, the smartphone will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and support for a 144Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it is tipped to support 2160Hz PWM Dimming. Lastly, the handset may come with a plastic frame and RBG lighting. Which will make it the brand’s first handset to feature an RGB lighting mechanism. The handset may also feature an in-display fingerprint scanner and an AI face unlock feature. However, the company is yet to reveal the specifications of the device.
