Realme is planning to release its Realme 12 Pro series in India soon. The iteration of the Realme number series will have significant upgrades and is expected to arrive in the country as they have received BIS certification. The Realme 12 Pro And Realme 12 Pro Plus will likely arrive early next year. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming phones.
Realme 12 Pro Series Gets BIS Certification
The Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ have been certified on the BIS website with the model numbers RX3842 and RMX3840, respectively. The Realme 12 Pro Plus+ is also certified on the Indonesian SDPPI site.

These phones will arrive as the successor to the Realme 11 Pro and Realme 11 Pro+. Furthermore, the Realme 12 Pro Plus will likely use the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and feature the 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B lens with 3x zoom.
On the other hand, the Realme 12 Pro could sport a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 telephoto lens with 2x zoom. The Realme 12 Pro series will compete against the Redmi Note 13 series, which will launch in India in January 2024.

It will have a large circular camera island on the back and could retain the leather-back design of its predecessor. Furthermore, the Realme 12 Pro series will have a punch-hole design on the front with a curved display.
Realme 12 Series Pricing And Availablity
It will be interesting to see how it fares against the Note 13 series, which brings a curved display for the first time with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+. These phones will also have a 5,000mAh battery with an 80/100W SUPERVOOC charger bundled in the box.

There is a high possibility that the Realme 12 Pro series could have a price tag of CNT 2,000 (around Rs.23,000). Both phones are likely to arrive in China by the end of this month, with an India launch in Q1 2024.
