Poco X6 Series Launch In India Confirmed, Will Use This Chipset

Poco has confirmed the launch of the Poco X6 series in India next year. The company has also created a dedicated page teasing its arrival.

The Poco X6 series includes the Poco X6 and the Poco X6 Pro, likely to be a rebrand of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro and the Xiaomi Redmi K70e, respectively. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming smartphones.

Poco X6 Series To Launch With Dimensity 8300 Ultra In India

The Poco X6 Pro will be the first phone in India to use the new MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset. Furthermore, the company teased the phone’s launch on X (Previously Twitter), calling it the “Ultimate Predator”.

The MediaTek Dimensity 8300 is an octa-core chipset based on the ARMv9 architecture. Moreover, it consists of 4 ARM Cortex A715 cores at 3.35 GHz and four Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 2.2GHz.

The 4nm chipset claims to offer flagship-grade performance with support for LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Furthermore, the Poco X6 Pro is likely to be a rebrand of the Redmi K70E, which was launched in China.

Poco X6 And X6 Pro Specifications

The Poco X6 series in India will feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 will power the X6, while the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra could power the X6 Pro. Both phones will have up to 512GB of storage and 16GB of RAM.

The Poco X6 will have a 200-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. Similarly, the X6 Pro could sport a 64-megapixel primary, 8-megapixel ultrawide and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.

Both phones will have a 16-megapixel camera for taking selfies. The X6 will have a 5,100mAh battery with 67W charging, while the X6 Pro could have a 5,500mAh battery with 90W charging.
