OnePlus have announced OxygenOS 13 development. At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event in June 2021, OxygenOS had its first introduction as fully integrated with OPPO ColorOS. The HydrogenOS then got replaced with ColorOS by OnePlus in China. The OxygenOS will practically rename itself as ColorOS when the worldwide areas got the Android 12 upgrade later.
H2OOS has been guessing on the name of the single operating system that both corporations would ditch. However, one plus has officially stated that OxygenOS 13 is in development based on Android 13.

This recent discovery has thrown the existing speculations and narrative about the company dropping the OxygenOS moniker into a loop. In any case, it’s still possible that it will still implement OnePlus’s previously announced plan to begin delivering a single global operating system across all of its devices.
However, the forthcoming unified OS name change will probably see a postponement in its launch. OxygenOS 13 discussion will take place in the Open Ears Forum with their user base in an attempt to develop the ideal OxygenOS for OnePlus handsets, according to the most recent release.
