Xiaomi is looking forward to launching a new refreshed variant of the Mi 10 in China. This will come as the ninth model in the company’s Mi10 series. Most of the models in the series come powered with Snapdragon 865 SoC. However, the upcoming variant will come powering on Snapdragon 870 SoC, according to DigitalChatStation.

Snapdragon 870 is a sub-flagship SoC from Qualcomm that shares most of its cues with the Snapdragon 865+ mobile platform. In addition, it also touts a prime core clocked at 3.2GHz instead of 3.1GHz. The tipster also reveals the Snapdragon 870 SoC-powered Mi 10 price in China, but there is no word on the phone’s other specifications yet.

The tipster on Weibo also seems to have got its hands on the pricing for the new variant. Moreover, this new Mi 10 will price at RMB 3,500 in China. This, in turn, approximately translates to Rs 39,500 in the Indian currency. This is slightly cheaper than the company’s flagship Mi 11. The latter comes with Snapdragon 888 SoC ticking at its core and is retailing in the country starting at around Rs 45,000. The Mi 11 is rumored to launch in India soon. Moreover, the tipster also revealed the Snapdragon 870 SoC-powered Mi 10 price in China, but there is no word on the phone’s other specifications yet.

On the other hand, in recent reports, Mi 11 can also come in Gray and Blue colors. Moreover, it will come in two storage configurations including 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB in India. In addition, Xiaomi is also readying to launch Mi 11 Pro in China. Additionally, Mi 11 Pro is to be the world’s first smartphone to support an 80W wireless charging solution.
