Apple launched a variety of different things on October 18, 2021, during their Apple Unleashed 2021 event. We got to see a redesigned MacBook Pro alongside third generation AirPods. In addition, the company also announced MacOS Monterey release date.
MacOS Monterey release date has been scheduled for October 25, 2021. The brand new OS will be rolling out for MacBooks and iMacs from the said date. Moreover, it will be available to download and install for free via the Apple App Store. It will be bringing several new features and major changes to the overall MacOS experience.

MacOS Monterey Features
The brand new OS by Apple will be bringing a bunch of different features to the table. These include FaceTime getting a couple of different features. In addition, Safari browser is getting a new makeover and the ability to create tab groups, much like Google Chrome. We will also get to see a new Share Your Screen feature on MacOS Monterey.
Further, MacOS Monterey features will also include SharePlay alongside a Portrait Mode. The new Portrait Mode focuses on the subject when they communicate and this makes them stand out as professionals.

We will also get to see Focus Modes on the new OS, just like Windows. There will be multiple modes that users can create. These include a Work Mode, Gaming Mode and custom modes. The best thing about the new Focus Mode is the fact that is synchronised. What this basically means is that if the user changes his mode on one Apple device, it automatically changes on all his devices.
MacOS Monterey users will also be able to invite anyone to a FaceTime via a web link. Users will also be able to send over music or videos directly from their phones to the Mac display. Several apps are getting a visual overhaul as well. These include Messages, Maps, Notes and as mentioned before, Safari as well.
