The Apple Unleashed event 2021 has finally happened today, on October 18, 2021. We saw the launch of a completely redesigned series of MacBook Pro. Additionally, the brand has also announced their third generation AirPods. They have introduced two new powerful chipsets in their new MacBook Pros.
Previously, the brand was expected to launch a redesigned MacBook Mini. Multiple reports suggested that the brand will be launching a new chipset called the M1X. Instead, we got not one but two new chipsets, named, the M1 Pro and M1 Max. Also, instead of a new MacBook Mini, we got to see new MacBook Pro models using the two new chipsets. The M1 Max is the most powerful processor by the brand till now.

Moreover, the India pricing of the new MacBook Pro variants have been revealed as well now. Without any further ado, here is a quick rundown of the price and specs of the newly launched devices by Apple.
MacBook Pro Specifications
Display and Camera
The brand new MacBook Pro comes in two different display sizes. While one comes with a 16.2-inch display Liquid retina XDR display, the other is a 14.2-inch Liquid retina XDR display model. The former claims to feature 1.8 million more pixels than the previous generation of MacBook Pro.
Besides, both the MacBook Pro variants come with 120Hz Adaptive Refresh Rate displays. This basically means that as per the content on the display, the refresh rate will automatically change and adapt. Most importantly, as the rumours suggested, we actually get to see a notch on the new MacBook Pro.

Similarly, the 14.2-inch model brings a total of 5.9 million pixels to the table. Now, this is more pixels than the previous generation of even the 16-inch MacBook Pro. The display also comes with the Mini LED technology and delivers a sustained brightness of 1000 nits. We also get to see a peak brightness of 1600 nits.
When it comes to the new MacBook Pro’s camera, we can find a 1080p webcam on the device. This is an HD camera with FaceTime support.
Processor, Performance and Software
The brand new MacBook Pro comes with two processor variants. While one will be powered by the new M1 Max chipset, the other with the new M1 Pro chipset. There is a significant difference in performance with the M1 Max being the more powerful chipset between the two.
The processors can go up to 10 CPU cores and 32 GPU cores. In addition, we also get to see the three unified memory options of 16GB, 32GB or 64GB. When, it comes to storage options, the new MacBook Pro starts with a 512GB SSD option. This goes all the way up to a staggering 8TB model option.
There is also a 16-core Neural Engine tech on the laptops alongside a ProRes decode and encode engine. This new engine is a great offering which caters to the needs of professional video editors. Besides, the new notebooks by Apple will run on an improved MacOS. This will offer a more seamless experience to MacOS users. Moreover, the new OS also brings better battery life and enhanced performance on the table.
Battery Life and Connectivity
The brand new MacBook Pro claims to deliver the best battery life on any MacBook ever. Moreover, we also get to see faster charging capabilities on the new notebook. According to Apple, their redesigned MacBook Pro offers up to 21 hours of battery life. Further, they also state that the notebook can charge up to 50% in just 20 minutes of charging.

When it comes to connectivity options, the new notebook is pretty stacked. There is an HDMI port, a modified superior headphone jack, three thunderbolt 4 ports and an SDXC card reader and more. We also get to see a six speaker sound system with Dolby Audio support. There are studio quality microphones as well for an enhanced voice connectivity experience.
MacBook Pro Price in India and Availability
The brand new MacBook Pro price starts at $1999 for the 14.2-inch model. On the other hand, the price of the 16-inch model starts at $2,499. Moreover, the India pricing of the devices have now gone official as well.
The new MacBook Pro price in India starts at Rs. 1,94,900 for the 14.2-inch model. Meanwhile, the 16.2-inch variant starts at Rs. 2,39,900. The brand new redesigned notebooks by Apple come in the Silver and Space Grey colour options. Both the laptop variants are now available for pre-ordering via the official Apple website.
Apple AirPods 3 Specifications and Price
Starting off with the design of the new Apple AirPods 3, we get to see a hybrid design. The design basically seems to be a cross between the original Apple AirPods and the Pro variant of it. We see a shorter stem on the device, much like the AirPods Pro. Another thing to note here is that the new AirPods 3 do not come with a silicon tip variant.
When it comes to processor, the latest AirPods by Apple use the H1 chipset. This particular chipset brings an enhanced audio experience alongside spatial audio support. We also get to see a dynamic head tracking feature on the new AirPods.
However, being on the more affordable side of things, the earbuds do not come with ANC, aka, Active Noise Cancellation. Apple has made up for this via an improved batter life. The AirPods 3 claim to deliver up to six hours of listening time. Moreover, Apple claims that the new AirPods offer up to four hours of talk time.

We also get to see a charging case with MagSafe support. This adds four additional full charges which takes up the total listening time to 30 hours. The newly launched AirPods also come with an IPX4 water resistance rating.
The AirPods 3 price in India has been set at Rs. 18,500. In addition, the company has also stated that the original AirPods will be available for Rs. 12,900. Further, they added that the AirPods Pro will retail for the same Rs. 24,900 price tag but, come with a MagSafe charging case as well now. When it comes to the availability of the device, it is up for pre-ordering from today. It will be available in store from October 26, 2021.
