iQOO is prepping to launch their iQOO 8 series of smartphones in China very soon. Moreover, the company has also revealed that they will be launching the devices in China on August 4. Besides, the company has already revealed certain key specifications of the upcoming series of smartphones.
For starters, the iQOO 8 series of devices will be carrying the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC. Besides, it will be the first series of smartphones to come with the latest flagship chipset by Qualcomm. Although these details have already been revealed by the brand, a lot of things are still under wraps. However, noted leakster Digital Chat Station has now revealed the key specs of the device ahead of its official China launch.

iQOO 8 Series Specifications (Leaked)
As the company has already confirmed, we know that the iQOO 8 series devices will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC. Moreover, as mentioned before, they will be the first phones to come with this particular chipset. Additionally, the Plus variant is also much more powerful than the vanilla variant of the devie. From a better CPU boost to an enhanced AI performance, the Plus variant performs significantly better.

Noted tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed a couple of things about the iQOO 8 series of devices. Starting off, the vanilla iQOO 8 will come with the model number of V2141A/PD2141. Additionally, the Snapdragon 888 Plus on the device will be paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Moreover, we will also see an extended RAM support of 4GB on the device.
When it comes to the display of the iQOO 8, it will come with a 2K resolution of 3200 x 1440, according to Digital Chat Station. However, the size of the display is currently under wraps. Although Digital Chat Station does reveal that the smartphone will come with at least a 120Hz fast refresh rate panel. According to the leakster, the smartphone will also feature a center-aligned single punch-hole display design at the front. This will house the selfie sensor of the device. Unfortunately, this is all that is known about the device for now.

However, we can expect to see a decent 4000mAh battery alongside a whopping 120W fast charging support. The iQOO 8 will also run on Android 11 with Vivo’s OriginOS custom skin on top. We look forward to hearing more from the company’s side of things in the coming days.
