iQOO 12 Launch Date Revealed, Will Arrive In India On This Day

iQOO is all set to launch its next flagship phone, the iQOO 12, in India soon. The company has revealed the launch date of the iQOO 12 in the country. While the phone will debut in China on November 7, it will arrive in India in December.

According to the iQOO 12 launch date reveal, the phone will arrive in India on December 12. The phone will be available for sale on iQOO India’s official website and Amazon.

Interestingly, the company has only mentioned the iQOO 12 in its teaser photo. This means it is likely the iQOO 12 Pro won’t arrive in India or launch later. For those unaware, iQOO only launched the iQOO 11 in the country, and the Pro variant did not make its debut.

The iQOO 12 will be the first phone in India to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, according to the company. However, Xiaomi plans to release the Xiaomi 14 in the country, which could disrupt iQOO’s claims as the phone has received certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

iQOO 12 Expected Specifications

According to leaked specifications, the iQOO 12 will have a 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE OLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, it will have a peak brightness of 3000 nits and support for 2160Hz PWM dimming.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is confirmed to power the phone, and it could have up to 16GB of RAM. The iQOO 12 will run on Android 14 and have up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

For optics, it will have a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultrawide and a 64-megapixel telephoto with 3x zoom. On the front, there will be a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

The iQOO 12 will pack a 5,000mAH battery with support for 120W fast charging. For connectivity, it will have Wi-Fi-7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, IR Blaster and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Moreover, the phones will have an IP64 rating, an X-axis linear motor for haptics, dual stereo speakers and 4D game vibration. There will be three colour variants, with the black and white having a glass back while the red one will have a leather back.
