In a positive move, the Indian Government has now launched their 24×7 Helpline to help these Indian students in Ukraine. To serve the purpose, the Ministry of External Affairs has also set up a Control Room in the capital. With the Russia Ukraine conflict not wanting to calm down the slightest bit, this comes as a ray of hope for these students.

If the Indian students in Ukraine can’t reach out via phone numbers, there’s nothing to worry about. They can reach out via e-mails to situationroom@mea.gov.in and cons1.kyiv@mea.gov.in. By doing so, they will be let in on all the information they need on the Indian Government’s bailout measures.
Russia Ukraine Conflict: What Else?
The Indian Embassy in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, issued an advisory notice for Indian nationals stuck there. This informs the Indian citizens in Ukraine that the Ukrainian airspace has been closed. Moreover, all flight schedules have been cancelled as well because of the ongoing Russia Ukraine conflict. The notice also talks about help being arranged for Indian students and nationals in Ukraine.

The good news is that alternatives are being arranged for Indian citizens to relocate to Western parts of the war-ridden country. Additionally, the Indian Embassy at Kyiv also advised the Indian students and other citizens in Ukraine to not travel to Kyiv. Instead, they have been asked to stay inside their homes as much as possible and carry their documents at all times.
