People on the Apple Support Forum and Reddit have been surprised to learn that the iPhone 13 series does support noise cancellation during phone calls. For reference, by the iPhone 13 series, we mean the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max. On earlier iPhones, the feature was available in Settings under the Audio/Visual, located within Accessibility.
iPhone Noise Cancellation
According to Apple, the setting reduced ambient noise during phone calls, but only when holding your iPhone to your ear. By default, Apple enabled the feature, despite burying it within Accessibility. Theoretically, the feature made it easier for people to be heard when making calls from busy environments, such as near heavy traffic.

Apple has now confirmed to 9to5Mac the lack of noise cancellation in the iPhone 13 series is not an iOS 15 bug. Instead, Apple has deprecated the feature, but it has not explained why. However, older iPhone models still support ‘Phone Noise Cancellation’ in iOS 15. Moreover, right now the only workaround is to enable the Voice Isolation feature from within the Control Center. Although, this does not work with all apps.
