In-App Support Chat Beta Testing
Earlier reports from WABetaInfo hinted that the company’s new in-app support feature will help users and the Meta-owned messaging app manage bug reports. It will be end-to-end encrypted chats and they’ll be closed after the issue that they have been opened to address has been fixed.
Now, contacting the Meta-owned platform by visiting Settings > Help > Contact us now displays a message to beta testers on both platforms. It states: “We will respond to you in a WhatsApp chat”. WhatsApp contacts users via in-app support messaging through its verified account. It also carries a green tick mark to prove the message is actually from WhatsApp.
