Apple has announced a refresh of the Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) with a new USB-C port to replace the old Lightning connector. The Cupertino giant has equipped the AirPods Pro 2nd Gen MagSafe charging case with a USB-C port.
AirPods Pro 2 Now Available With USB-C
The new USB-C port on the AirPods Pro 2 will make it convenient for iPhone users to charge all devices using a single cable. You can now use a USB-C cable to charge your Mac,iPad, AirPods and Apple iPhone 15 series. These AirPods can also charge via reverse wired charging on the iPhone 15 lineup.

It also sports an improved IP54 rating with enhanced dust resistance, so you can easily carry it during your adventures. Furthermore, the earbuds also feature support for Lossless Audio with ultra-low latency for the Apple Vision Pro. The H2 chipset used in the earbuds can deliver 20-bit 48kHz Lossless Audio for an immersive listening experience.

The iOS 17 update brings some new features to AirPods Pro, including Adaptive Audio, Conversation Awareness and Personalized Volume. The rest of the specifications remain similar to the original AirPods Pro 2, with two times Active Noise Cancellation and advanced Transparency mode. It also has the same immersive Spatial Audio support and a wide range of ear tips for a comfortable fit.

The AirPods Pro 2nd Gen with USB-C MagSafe Charging Case will be available for pre-order starting today. The earbuds will go on sale from September 22 for a price of Rs.24,900. Moreover, the company has also launched a new version of EarPods with a USB-C connector for those who prefer wired earphones.
