Oppo has silently launched their Y1s as their latest smartphone in India. The entry-level device is also listed on the company site alongside its key specifications. Oppo Y1s runs on Android 10 with the FunTouch OS 10.5 on top. Other specifications of the device include the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, 13-megapixel rear primary sensor and a 4,030mAh battery.
The Vivo Y1s is launched as an entry-level device with a price tag under the Rs. 10,000 segment. The handset comes in two color options in the country. Moreover, Vivo has also teased the launch of the Vivo V20 Pro in India as ‘Coming Soon’. There is indeed a lot to look forward to by the company.
Vivo Y1s Price And Availability
Although the Vivo Y1s is listed on the company’s website, the official price details are under wraps. However, Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom has revealed the pricing of the device. The Vivo Y1s price in India is said to be set at Rs. 7,990. Moreover, this is the price for the single 2GB/32GB variant that the device comes in.

Furthermore, the device is available in two color options namely Aurora Blue and Olive Black. Additionally, there is a Jio lock-in offer as well on the device. As per the offer, users are provided with perks like benefits worth up to Rs. 4,550. Additionally, the offer also provides a 90-day Shemaroo OTT subscription. Lastly, there is also a free one-time screen replacement via OneAssist.
Vivo Y1s Specifications
The Vivo Y1s features a 6.22-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1,520 pixels. Additionally, the LCD come with a 88.6 percent screen-to-body ratio. Moreover, the phone runs on Android 10 with the FunTouch OS 10.5 skin on top.
On the processor front, the Vivo Y1s is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 MT6765 SoC. The chipset is paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the internal storage of the device is also expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.

When it comes to the cameras, the Vivo Y1s features a single 13-megapixel primary rear camera with an aperture of f/2.2. On the front, the phone comes with a 5-megapixel selfie shooter with an aperture of f/1.8. Moreover, the selfie shooter is housed in a waterdrop style notch design at the front. The phone also comes with rear flash support alongside modes like time-lapse and beauty.
The Vivo Y1s packs a decent 4030mAh battery with standard charging. The handset packs all the important connectivity options too. These options include 2.4G Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, Micro USB port, GPS, USB OTG, FM Radio and more. Additionally, the phone also retains the conventional 3.5mm audio jack. The dimensions of the phone are listed to be 155.11×75.09×8.28mm. Besides, the handset is said to weigh 161 grams. Sensors like the accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, e-compass and virtual gyroscope can are also there in the device. Lastly, the Vivo Y1s features Face Unlock support alongside a system-wide dark mode.
Vivo has given us some really good entry-level devices this year and this one is no different. Definitely targeted at budget conscious folks, the Vivo Y1s seems like a great device.
