Samsung is working on a new Galaxy F-series smartphone, according to reports. Samsung Galaxy F62 has plans for launching in India. Although there is no confirmation on its exact launch date. In addition, it will likely be part of the F-series which started with the F41 model. On the other hand, some specs of the phone are on the Geekbench site ahead of its confirmation.

According to a report by 91Mobiles and tipster Ishan Agarwal, the smartphone with the model number SM-E625F is in the works. Samsung Galaxy F62 could launch in the Indian market in early 2021. Specifications and design are also unknown at the moment, but now the tipster has revealed its existence. Moreover, it is also unclear whether it will launch in more markets apart from India.

Nonetheless, the Samsung Galaxy F62 is not likely to be the only model in development under the Galaxy F series. A report in October suggested that Samsung would also bring the Galaxy F12 or Galaxy F12s to its series with a model number SM-F172G. However, the company is yet to confirm that development.

As per the listing spotted by Twitter user Abhishek Yadav, the upcoming Samsung F-series smartphone will be powered by Exynos 9825 SoC. Additionally, Samsung phone carrying the model number SM-E625F runs on Android 11.
Samsung Galaxy F62 could carry the same chipset that debuted as a flagship Exynos SoC in August last year. It is already a part of the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+. The Geekbench listing also highlights 6GB of RAM on the new Samsung phone. Meanwhile, we can expect some new leaks and rumors emerging online to suggest further details.
