Apple is launching a lot of different new products this year. The company’s latest offering is AirPods Max, which is the company’s first over-the-ear headphones. It is a premium, top-end audio product from Apple. Moreover, the company says that it comes with features like high-fidelity audio, spatial sound, and adaptive EQ. Earlier there were rumors of such headphones with the name AirPods Studio.

AirPods Max is now available globally and will begin shipping around the world and in India on December 15. In addition, it’s listing is visible on the Apple India online store in five color options.

AirPods Max Price in India and Availability
The headphones listing is on Apple India online store for Rs. 59,900. They will be available for purchase through the store. In addition, it will also be available in other Apple resellers starting December 15.
Moreover, the pair will ship with a special “smart” case designed for it. It has a flap open cover, along with a Lightning to USB-C cable for charging.

Globally, the AirPods Max Pro wireless headphones come with a price tag of $549, which works out to just under Rs. 40,500. On the other hand, pre-orders have already begun for the headphones.
AirPods Max Specifications and Features
Firstly, it claims to deliver high-fidelity audio. The machined aluminum earcups are said to be attached to a unique suspension system that flexes with the stainless-steel headband, which is covered with a breathable knit mesh canopy, to fit a wide range of head sizes. Additionally, the earcups have an “acoustically optimized” net that surrounds the magnetically attached cushions.
AirPods Max is fitted with custom 40mm dynamic drivers from Apple and its proprietary H1 chip. It has a total of nine microphones, eight of which also assist the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) function to block noise from all directions. Moreover, they also have a single-button press Transparency mode similar to Apple’s true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones. The wireless headphones connect using Bluetooth v5.

The headphones have spatial audio with dynamic head tracking. It essentially uses accelerometer and gyroscope sensors to track head movement and optimize sound in real-time. They have optical and position sensors to detect when the pair is removed from ears — or when one earcup is lifted — to pause the sound. And also adaptive EQ to optimize sound for different genres of music.
They also have a dedicated noise control button to switch between ANC and Transparency mode. Additionally, the AirPods Max has a digital crown on top of the right earcup to play/ pause/ skip tracks, activate Siri, and, most importantly, control volume with precision. It claims to deliver up to 20 hours of listening time on a single charge with ANC enabled. According to Apple, five minutes of charge time provides around an hour and a half of listening time.
