OnePlus 8 Specifications
Talking about the company’s regular OnePlus 8 launch, we get the device to flaunt a curved glass back. It boasts a 6.55” FHD+ AMOLED panel (2400*1080) with a 90hz refresh rate (as we have seen on the OnePlus 7T) and a 20: aspect ratio. With a claimed peak brightness of 1100 nits, the panel gets HDR 10+ support too.
Power department is where the device is mastered. So as expected, the powertrain gets the Snapdragon 865 paired with up to 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage with turbo write and HPB. USB 3.1, Wi-Fi 6 and dual-stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos further boost the spec-sheet. The OnePlus 8, like the OnePlus 8 Pro gets support for 5G.

The OnePlus 8 gets a triple rear-camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary camera with Sony IMX586 sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide sensor and a macro camera. The front camera gets embedded in a punched-hole at the front. For videos, we get 4K video recording accompanied by both OIS and EIS for the best video shots.
Battery department gets a major downgrade compared to the Pro variant. So, there is a 4300mAh battery with Warp Charge 30T support. Unfortunately, there is no support for wireless charging or reverse wireless charging, as we saw in the OnePlus 8 Pro.
OnePlus 8 launch price comes at $699 for the 8+128GB variant whereas the 12+256GB variant gets a launch price of $799. Although the Indian pricing hasn’t been revealed, the OnePlus 8 launch price in India converts to approx. Rs. 52,999 and Rs. 59,999 respectively.
The device gets interstellar glow, glacial green and Onyx black as the colour options.
