After a swarm of assumptions through leaks and teasers, the day has finally arrived when we will get the first look of the year’s most awaited flagship, the OnePlus 8 series. The OnePlus 8 launch is going to happen through an online-only event, due to the coronavirus outbreak, but it will still be exciting for fans. The OnePlus 8 launching price is yet to be sure about.

If you are one of those die-heart fans of OnePlus, you can watch the launch of the OnePlus 8 series live for free. So, the OnePlus 8 launch event will begin at 8:30pm IST on April 14th, i.e. today. The event will be streamed on OnePlus official website as well as on YouTube. You can even click on the reminder button on YouTube to get notified when the event starts. Fans may also keep a check on the company’s official Twitter account for timely updates as they happen.

If we come to alleged specifications, both the devices are expected to boast the Snapdragon 865 chipset clubbed with up to 12GB of RAM. The regular OnePlus 8 will house a 6.5-inch FHD+ panel and feature a triple rear camera setup. This would include a 48 MP primary shooter alongside a 12 MP and 2 MP secondary cameras.
The costlier Pro variant is assumed to have a quad camera setup. It would boast a better 6.78″ Super Fluid Curved 120hz Display. The company can also introduce a “Lite” version of its OnePlus 8 series which is expected to be called the “OnePlus Z”. The OnePlus Z would be a mid-ranger and would feature slightly downgraded specifications.
