Xiaomi Mi 11T With A MediaTek Dimensity Chipset Gets Certified: Report

  • Xiaomi is gearing up to launch a bunch of new devices in China today, that is, the 10th of August. The company will be launching the Mi MIX 4, the Mi Pad 5, next-gen OLED Smart TVs and more. Now, the company seems to be working towards the launch of another series, the Xiaomi Mi 11T.

    The Xiaomi Mi 11T series of devices have recently been in the leaks. The Xiaomi Mi 11T Pro has recently been leaked to have received the SIRIM certification in Malaysia. Moreover, this revealed the official moniker of the device. Now, the vanilla Mi 11T has surfaced online and it has been certified in Indonesia, according to a report by MyDrivers.

    Additionally, the newly leaked smartphone has been listed with the model number 21081111RG. Moreover, the smartphone is said to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity processor. Now, ahead of its official launch, the smartphone has received its certification. We can expect to see the smartphone in a bunch of other certification websites in the coming days.

    Xiaomi Mi 11T: What More?

    Sadly, for now, the exact model of the chipset that the smartphone will carry is not known. However, going by the fact that it is after all a flagship device, we can assume it to be the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. Also, another thing to note here is that the Xiaomi Mi 11T will immediately become the first flagship device in the series to carry a MediaTek chipset. Till now, all the devices in the series have been powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets.

    Furthermore, just like its predecessor, the upcoming smartphone will come in two variants, the vanilla Mi 11T and the more premium Mi 11T Pro. Recently, Digital Chat Station also revealed that the two smartphone will sport a 120Hz OLED display. This is unlike the Mi 10T series which features a 144Hz LCD display.
