Today, Xiaomi confirmed that it has started testing the Xiaomi HyperOS update in India and will soon launch it there. Moreover, the company has confirmed that it going to launch the Redmi Note 13 series smartphones in India on January 4th.
Following the launch of the new MIUI alternative HyperOS for Xiaomi products in China in October. With the global release of POCO F5 and other Xiaomi devices, the company is gearing up to fetch the new OS to India.

This announcement follows the company’s recent statement. HyperOS will be available worldwide on Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco phones from the first quarter of 2024. The CMO of Xiaomi India said that 2024 will be a big year for Xiaomi India with many exciting developments.

Xiaomi has designed a “human-centric” operating system called HyperOS that powers all of its devices, including phones, cars, and household products. This operating system provides a new user interface aimed at achieving its four main aims. These are proactive intelligence, low-level refactoring, end-to-end security and cross-end intelligent connectivity.

Xiaomi HyperOS is based on Linux and the Xiaomi Vela system developed by Xiaomi itself and allows you to work efficiently on a variety of devices, regardless of RAM size. Xiaomi HyperOS is lightweight and consumes minimal resources compared to its competitors. HyperOS is based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and ships with Android 14. Xiaomi promises that HyperOS will provide stable performance even in resource-intensive scenarios.
