Meta is working constantly to improve users’ experience day by day. Now, the company is testing music integration on WhatsApp status. Music integration in Instagram stories is one of the most used features. Recently, a new feature was a testing phase for a group of beta testers using Android devices. This feature allows users to access a music library from Meta, which includes popular songs found on Instagram. Now, with the latest update for iOS available on TestFlight, all users can add music to their status updates.

iOS users can now enjoy a new music feature thanks to a partnership with Universal Music Group, giving them access to a wide variety of songs. When you post a status, there’s a new music button in the editing area. This lets you search for your favourite songs or artists from a huge music library, similar to what you find on Instagram.
So, you can choose the exact part of the song you want to share. If you’re sharing a photo, the music clip can be up to 15 seconds long. For videos, the music will play for the entire length of the video. As you already know this feature is already accessible for some Android and iOS users.
