The Government of India has launched new telecom services to improve network connectivity and security for citizens. Union Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia introduced the Sanchar Saathi App, National Broadband Mission (NBM) 2.0, and the Intra Circle Roaming (ICR) facility at government-funded 4G towers.
Sanchar Saathi App: A New Tool for Telecom Security
The Sanchar Saathi App is a mobile app designed to help users protect their telecom services. It is available for Android and iOS and offers tools to prevent telecom fraud and secure user data. This app makes it easier for citizens to manage their mobile connections and stay safe from scams.

How Intra Circle Roaming (ICR) Works
The Intra Circle Roaming (ICR) service lets telecom companies share mobile towers funded by the government. If a user’s primary network is unavailable, their phone will automatically switch to another available network at the same DBN-funded 4G tower.
This means Jio, Airtel, and BSNL users can enjoy uninterrupted 4G services even in rural and remote areas. They don’t need to worry about weak signals or network issues, as their phone will connect to another provider’s tower when needed.

More Connectivity For Rural India With Sanchar Saathi App
The government is using 27,000 mobile towers to expand mobile coverage in over 35,400 villages. This initiative will help people in rural areas stay connected. It will also improve education, healthcare, and business by providing reliable mobile access.
