OPPO has started sharing some exciting details about OPPO Find N5 ahead of the launch. Recently, some photos of the phone have surfaced online, giving us a sneak peek. This new model is being marketed as the thinnest foldable flagship phone ever, aiming to outdo last year’s Honor Magic V3. In updates posted on Weibo, OPPO’s Product Manager, Zhou Yibao, highlighted the phone’s impressive durability and very slim design, especially when compared to the latest Apple iPhone 16 Pro and Huawei Mate XT Ultimate.

Oppo Find N5 Leaked Specs
OPPO is set to launch what it claims will be the world’s thinnest smartphone next month. As we get closer to the release of the OPPO Find N5, more information is coming to light. Recent reports indicate that this phone will be waterproof, rated for splashes, and able to handle immersion and high-pressure water jets. This means it could take fantastic underwater photos, similar to capabilities found in other recent OPPO models.

The OPPO Find N5 is making waves for its slim design. When folded, it’s less than 9.2mm thick, and when fully opened, just 4mm thick on each side. To give you a sense of that size, it’s even thinner than the iPhone 16 Pro, which is 8.3mm thick. For comparison, the OPPO Find N3 is 5.8mm thick when opened and 11.7mm when folded. However, the current record-holder for the thinnest foldable phone, the Honor Magic V3, measures 4.4mm and 9.4mm thick. One image shared on social media even suggests that its thickness is comparable to four credit cards.
Additionally, the device boasts a strong and lightweight design thanks to its 3D titanium alloy hinge, which is an upgrade from the usual aluminium used in many foldable phones. This emphasis on durability sets a new standard for foldable devices. The OPPO Find N5 has also been spotted on a benchmarking website. It reveals that it will have a powerful processor and 16GB of RAM, running on the latest version of Android.

Expected Price Details
OPPO Find N5 will be launched globally under the name OnePlus Open 2. Its predecessor, the OPPO Find N3, and the OnePlus Open were priced starting at CNY 9,999 (around Rs 1,45,395) in their respective markets.
