WhatsApp has began testing the ability for users to edit their text messages, according to WABetaInfo, a WhatsApp beta tracker. It would appear alongside the current Info and Copy options that appear when you long-press a text message in the app.
WABetaInfo has published a few screenshots to demonstrate how the edit option on WhatsApp would work. Users can alter the text by selecting Edit from the pop-up menu after long-pressing the text message, as seen in the screenshots.
