Vivo has launched the Vivo Y75 5G in India, the latest entry in Vivo’s Y-series. Early reports revealed the specifications and render of the device last week. Now, most of them become official. Vivo also took to their social media handles to announce the launch of the phone. According to the company, it will strengthen its mid-budget portfolio under Rs. 25,000-mark. The phone retails in one configuration – 8GB+128GB which is retailing at Rs. 21,990 in India. Vivo Y75 5G comes in two colour options – Starlight Black and Glowing Galaxy which is a gradient colour of Pink and Blue. Moreover, its’ first sale in India will start on January 27, 2022, via the Vivo India website and official partner channels.

Vivo Y75 5G Specifications
The new phone runs on Funtouch OS 12, based on Android 12. It sports a 6.58-inch (1,080×2,408 pixels) full-HD+ IPS LCD display. Under the hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. It also comes paired with 8GB of RAM. According to Vivo, one can use the extended RAM feature, adding up to 4GB of memory from unutilised storage.

In terms of optics, Vivo Y75 5G flaunts a triple rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary camera and two 2-megapixel snappers. It also features a 16-megapixel camera at the front for selfies. The camera app comes bundled with modes like live photo, slow motion, time-lapse, pro mode, AR stickers, and documents. Connectivity options include 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type C port for charging, and fingerprint scanner. The phone also gets a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
