Vivo announced the Vivo Y53s in India on Monday, August 9, 2021. It comes as the company’s latest model in the Y-series. Moreover, Nipun Marya, Director- Brand Strategy, Vivo India says, “With this launch, we continue to add new devices to our portfolio across various price points. It will meet our customer’s expectations and provide them with unmatched immersive and premium experience”. Meanwhile, it is likely to compete with the likes of the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy M51.

Price, Availability
In terms of price, the Vivo Y53s is available for a price tag of ₹19,490 for the single 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The phone comes in Deep Sea Blue and Fantastic Rainbow colours. It will also be available for purchase through Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, Tatacliq, Bajaj EMI Store. It is also available at Vivo India e-store as well as all major retail outlets starting Monday, August 9.

Launch Offers
Vivo Y53s launch offers include up to Rs. 1,500 cashback via HDFC Bank debit/ credit cards and EMI transactions. It is also possible through ICICI Bank credit and debit cards, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Bajaj Finserv. There will also be Jio benefits worth Rs. 7,000. Further, customers will get no-cost EMI options. Moreover, online channels will also have additional Rs. 1,500 exchange discount and no-cost EMI options for up to nine months.
Vivo Y53s Specifications
has a dual-SIM configuration and runs Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11. It comes with a 6.58-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) LCD display that has a 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC. It also comes along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded with a microSD card.

In terms of optics, Vivo Y53s has a triple back camera configuration. It includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/.79 lens, a 2-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens for pictures and videos. There is also a 16-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
