Twitter has rolled out a new update that prevents tweets from disappearing while being read on the web. The company’s new approach follows plenty of complaints from Twitter users who claimed that tweets would sometimes disappear from the screen just as they were halfway through reading them. The timeline refreshes itself on a continuous frequency, causing tweets to “disappear”. Users may now select when new tweets are loaded into the timeline on Twitter Web, according to the latest update.

Twitter Update for Web Users
Twitter’s Support account on the microblogging platform announced the release of the latest Web client update on Tuesday. It will no longer automatically refresh timelines on the web with new tweets as a result of this. Users can load new tweets whenever they like, according to the Twitter Support page, by clicking on the tweet counter bar at the top of their timelines.

Twitter users who log in through the app have previously complained about tweets disappearing. When the timeline would automatically refresh, tweets were reported to disappear from view. In September of this year, Twitter promised a patch for the issue. Twitter stated that it would be releasing an update to fix the problem over the next two months.
Twitter has been working on a number of new features and improvements. Listeners and hosts can now reach out to the audience by sending a direct link to a Spaces audio broadcast, thanks to a new feature introduced by Twitter Spaces.

Separately, Twitter and Instagram have joined up to make cross-posting easier with the release of Twitter Card previews on Android, iOS, and the Web.
Twitter has also included a new privacy-related feature in the update that allows users to remove someone without blocking them. When a Twitter user removes someone from their timeline, the individual’s tweets will no longer appear in their timeline. It is currently only available on the Web.
