The update integrates Apple’s Live Caller ID Lookup framework, designed to deliver real-time caller ID. This feature, introduced with iOS 18 last year, enables third-party apps to verify incoming calls against a server to detect known spam numbers.
Automatic spam call blocking is now available worldwide, while the live caller ID feature is gradually rolling out. Truecaller Premium subscribers using iPhones with iOS 18.2 can access this new functionality. Meanwhile, free users will continue to have access to the existing ad-supported manual number search and caller ID for Verified Businesses.
How To Enable It On Your Phone?
To enable it, follow these steps:
- Ensure your Truecaller app is updated to version 14.0 or later from the iPhone App Store.

- Turn on all Truecaller toggles and restart the app.
